Adventure Images is the trade name I use to share photographs and graphics. Many are now available in an assortment of formats and products.

 

Most accomplished photographers develop a distinctive style as they grow in skill and experience. I don't know if I've stumbled upon one of those yet, but I have found that the pictures I enjoy most are those in which the photographer lets the scene speak for itself without excessive embellishment. Composition, perspective, great light, and interesting subjects are all essential.  Beyond these, I enjoy photos dressed-up to look their very best, but without overdone post-processing that creates an unnatural look. In my experience, the most stirring images are those in which the photographer succeeds in eliciting the same feeling in the viewer as he or she had the moment the shutter was released.

 

My images have appeared in a growing number of diverse publications including BBC History Magazine, Civil War Trust's Hallowed Ground Magazine, the Colorado Springs Gazette, and a Montana KOA Kampground brochure. Even Shipspotting.com and the Logan County, Colorado government website have displayed my pictures. Many Adventure Images graphics are available through Getty Images/iStock and on various products in Pixels.com and Zazzle (see links below).
